DELILAH'S STORY
I lived the first year of my life on a very heavy chain, that was pad locked to my neck on a choke collar that was way too small for my neck. I was given just enough room to walk in a circle. This lead to my collar cutting into my neck leaving my skin without fur, raw and bleeding. THANK HEAVEN I was RESCUED. My neck wounds are healing and I am pretty sure my fur will grow back in time. There will Not be Any long term problems from this once it all heals.
Due to never living in a home before, I am still a bit skid-ish inside a house, and things that move and make noise scare me. But I am working on this. However, I love to run, play and frolic in my foster moms backyard with her other dogs.
