Starla has a beautiful dark, silky coat and very striking green eyes, a trademark of a Mau breed. Starla loves to play with toys and typical of her breed works herself up when she plays, but once playtime is past, she calms down, is a cuddle bug and wants to be with her special person. Starla needs and wants someone to give her their time and love.
Starla followed a young man home. He believes this girl was abandoned by someone in a nearby apartment complex when they moved. From her time outside, she now sometimes seems to want to go outside and will dash for the door. While she has gotten out, what she really needs is someone to give her an indoor home where she will be safe from the dangers outside. The young man who found Starla could not turn her out so he called his Aunt who fosters for Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue. Starla is staying with the young man and seems to be adjusting well to having another cat and 2 dogs in the apartment with her. Due to the size of his living space, he cannot keep Starla and does not want to bring her to the local shelter, but needs to find Starla her own forever home.
Starla has been vetted and is healthy, has all her shots, stool sample check was negative, FELV/FIV Neg. If she is not spayed she will be prior to adoption. The vet estimates her age between 1 and 2 years of age.
