Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Kyle's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Kyle's Story...
They call me super dog because right after my rescue, I collapsed with both Parvo and the Adenovirus, but HPPL didn’t give up on me and I made a miraculous recovery. So now I am blind in one eye, but am full of life! Any toy is exciting, being around and playing with other dogs is a thrill, and learning all my lessons is even fun because I am smart and eager to please. Since I was so sick initially, I am now learning my housetraining (and I am almost there), doing pretty well walking on a leash and can stay in a crate once I settle in. I would love a comfy home with plenty of affection and someone willing to take me to the next level with all manners. I am ready to live life to the fullest. My edob is 3/13. My current weight is 30 lbs. but my estimated adult weight is 55 - 60 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kyle, a Houston Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
