My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This companion animal's name is Sunny. This lovely and handsome cat is a staff favorite. We adore this kitty. RED rescued this kitty as a shelter transfer at the request of the staff of that shelter, who had also fallen for this lovely kitty soul. Sunny has been a great kitty with a lovely nature and a desire to be with his people. Sunny needed rescue as he has a issue when transported. He will have seizures when stressed and that has only happened 2 times when crated. The crate is the only thing to date that has triggered this response. It is not a thing that has happened in any other situation while with RED for the last 6 months. We feel there is no reason this cat should not have a home of his a own and people to love him. He must be an indoor only cat and go to a person who understands he is subject to possible seizures that may not ever happen again or may happen again. The vets did not want him on meds as there are not enough events to merit such a drastic chemical intervention and could do more harm than good. That said, meds may be in his future should this issue expand in the future. Medications for this, should they ever be needed, are generally very low cost and are about 10.00 a month. RED would be interested in talking to a cat savvy loving home that would love to give this special sunny boy a place of his own.
