My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

POPPY (short for California Poppy) has a striking elfin face with deep amber-colored eyes. He has an unusual way of stretching out on a lap, with sensual enjoyment in being stroked and the pleasure of owning you in complete contentment. He is calmer in temperament, calmer to handle when being medicated. But he is not a couch potato, and needs rough and tumble play.

Initially Poppy can be shy, or slow to respond to a new person in a new situation. But he quickly develops confidence and even a bossy nature. He is not shy around other cats and adapts very quickly and smoothly to cats of all ages. What he wants to do is play, chase, and wrestle with other kittens. Then when he tires out, he will stretch out in your lap and sleep for a long deep sleep.

Poppy was 19 weeks on 9/19 and would love to go to a home with litter mate Bluebelle.
