Nikki is a sweet senior boy who loves going for walks and rides in the car. He has a lot of energy still and is quirky, loves his food and treats! For some reason stairs scare him so if you have stairs he should be carried up and down them.  A really sweet boy who although 10 yrs old still has a lot of life and years in him.  If you are looking for a great new addition to your home who is happy to play or just cuddle up please consider meeting Nikki.  He tolerates other dogs, but prefers to be the only spoiled baby in a home.

Nikki, may be older but still deserving of a home to call his own.  Being older just means that he is calmer and nicely behaved in the home although he still enjoys life.  Please consider meeting this beautiful boy to see if he might be a good match for your home.  As a Senior his adoption fee is only $100.

Before applying for this dog, please think the decision over thoroughly and make sure the whole family is in agreement. Owning a dog is a huge responsibility that is not something that should be rushed into. Each dog from Rescued Treasures has been saved from an uncertain future. If you are thinking about adopting, please remember it is a LIFE-LONG commitment. Dogs can live to be at least 14 years old...are you ready to take care of him/her that long?

About Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions

About Our Rescue Group...

Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions is a pet
rescue and adoption run solely by
volunteers who have a passion to help
society's throwaways. Each year in the
United States 3-4 million dogs and cats are
euthanized in shelters. While Rescued
Treasures Pet Adoptions can only make a tiny
dent in that number, we have dedicated
ourselves to saving as many as we can.

Each rescued pet that comes into Rescued
Treasures has been saved from either a kill
shelter or an owner who could no longer take
care of him/her. Rescued Treasures takes the
time to get each pet fully vetted to ensure that
the pet is healthy. The pet is then placed in a
loving and devoted foster home who cares for
and trains him/her to become wonderful
companions for his/her forever adoptive family.

Everyone can help control the number of pets
that are euthanized every year. One way is by
spaying or neutering their pets. Another way
is by fostering or adopting the pets that end up homeless. Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions
is always looking for more dedicated and
loving foster homes for its homeless pets. It is one of the most heartwarming things in the world to look in the eyes of a dog, cat, puppy, or kitten that you saved from dying...they will forever be grateful that you cared enough to help them when no one else did.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of Rescued Treasures homeless pets are placed into loving foster homes until their forever home is found.
We are working on finding a place to hold adoption events.

Our Adoption Process...

Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions has a simple yet comprehensive procedure for its adoptions. The frist step is to fill out our adoption application which can be found on our website ( After the application is received a visit will be set up between you and the dog or cat. If the visit goes well, then a vet reference is done to verify the care of your past and present pets. A home visit with the dog is the last step in the process to make sure everyone, including the dog is comfortable.

Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions is a non-profit organization. Our only form of funds come from adoption donation fees and donations from the public. We need to charge adoption donation fees in order to recoup some of the vetting done on our rescued pets. Without these donations we would not be able to continue rescuing dogs and cats. Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions also accepts donations of dog and cat supplies so please do not hesitate to contact us regarding them.
