Griffin ~ Adoption Pending's Story...
Griffin went to the vets yesterday - we believe he is approx. 4-5 yrs old. He was neutered yesterday, and had to have 5 teeth extracted, one of which they had to cut out from the gums as it was fractured. Poor guy - he wasn't taken care of... very well, but that is now behind him - the search for his forever family begins now! He is a great dog! He is house trained, affectionate, active and playful outside, calm inside. Gets along with other dogs, passive.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Griffin ~ Adoption Pending, a Youngstown Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso for sale in Youngstown, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Youngstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
