Patchy's Story...
Patchy, aka little Wookie, looks like he came straight out of George Lucas' imagination. This little guy is so cute and cuddly you will be in love at first sight. He may not be able to repair star ships, or fight on moons in far off galaxies, but he can sneak up and pounce on a squeaky toy. Patchy is about four years old, already neutered, about 15 pounds, and ready for a new start to life. He loves to play and romp and thinks toys are the best thing ever. This little adorable guy did have a severe flea allergy when he came in. His rear is lacking some hair because of it. The fleas have been banished and the hair is starting to grow back. Soon he will have his full mane to show off again. Come in today and find your best friend right on our own planet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patchy, a South Haven Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
