Pete's Story...
Hi my name is Pete. I have a big heart for everyone and everyone loves me. I am a very sweet boy who is very happy to be held and loved. Playing is also a favorite thing to do especially if it involves a ball to chase and maybe someday my mouth will be big enough to grab it.

My mother is a border collie that my foster mom adopted from a shelter and to her surprise had ten puppies a week later. My Veterinarian thinks I will be a medium size dog like my mom. I am seven weeks old and way too cute.

By the time I find my forever family I will have had a round of puppy shots, wormed and been neutered. I am hoping for a forever family that will play ball and make me part of the family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pete, a Allentown Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
