Molly, a Golden mix - most likely Golden-Pyrenees with her broad head and white coat and light gold frosting, is a big girl at 77 pounds in her large frame under her luxurious coat of fluff. She is 1.5 years old, but is very settled for such a young dog. She can run like the blazes and loves playing with her foster siblings. You just look at Molly and she brightens your day with her big smile and just being part of your life. You just want to snuggle her and she is definitely up to that!
Molly has all the great Golden traits - loving, gentle, affectionate, joyful, and will follow you everywhere. She loves toys, balls, cheese treats, rawhides, and a can of tuna. She is a ball fetch apprentice. At our house there is too much competition for her successfully retrieving a thrown ball.
She has a curious nature wanting to check out everything. She is great on recall when going for
property walks and dog park hikes. She is a perfect dog citizen when greeting people or other dogs. Molly is very expressive and will let you know what bothers her.
Most likely she was not allowed on furniture in her last home, but she sure has made herself part of our furniture - whether a couch, chair, or bed - her favorite where she will lovingly snuggle into the bedding groaning in bliss. And she wants more than anything to be your lap dog. She has obviously had some training, but could use some more. She is a shoe-in to earn her CGC certificate.
