Isabel's Story...
I was saved today from a Buncher....for those of you who don&pos;t know what a Buncher is let me tell you - they are bad bad people and in the four-legged world, Buncher is a word we don't ever want to hear. A Buncher is a person who reflects themselves as a loving caring person that is willing to take your animal into their home - they profess they will love it and care for it but what they do is immediately take them to animal research facilities and get paid big $$$ too. They especially like the big breed dogs.Apparently, my previous family didn't want me because they were giving me away for FREE at their garage sale. Yes, I guess you can put anything in a garage sale, even members of your family. But fortunately for me, a nice lady was at the garage sale and she heard my owner talking to someone on the phone that seemed really eager to get me. So the nice lady took me because she knew all about the bad Bunchers that were scouring neighborhoods for dogs and cats. This nice lady really had no place to go with me but she just wanted to get me out of that situation - so she called Lake Haven. I heard her talking to the Director lady and she said "YES

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabel, a Newaygo Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Newaygo, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Newaygo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newaygo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newaygo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newaygo paves the way for another one to be saved.
