Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Haiku is one of that mythical breed of beagles that’s QUIET! She’s a calm girl that loves people (including the young variety!) and other dogs. After a snuggle, you’re going to get some gentle kisses from her—something to look forward too! Her foster mother is amazed at how quickly and easily she settled in. She’d like to sniff cats (the current cat doesn’t care to be sniffed, and Haiku respects that), but heaven help you if you’re a squirrel! She has a good grasp on housetraining (no accidents yet!) and is not pushy about you sharing your food, although she’s happy to receive whatever you give her, and she’s not food aggressive with other dogs. She does have cherry eye in her right eye; it has been fixed once, and we’re hoping that goes back down again, but it strikes her foster mother as the single imperfection of an amazing dog. Her sister, Sonnet, is also available for adoption. It would be nice if they found a home together, but Haiku would also be OK as a single pet.
