Jake's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Jake's Story...
Jake's adoption fee is $350.

Jake is a dream. He is a 2 or 3 year old, 4 ½ pound, neutered male Yorkie, up to date on his shots and micro chipped. He is housetrained, but of course being in a new environment there may be the odd mistake while he gets comfortable in your home.

This charming little dog with his gentle demeanor is well behaved wherever you take him. He likes a good romp on the bed in the morning and practically melts away when you scratch the top of his head. Jake walks nicely on leash, is very friendly when meeting other dogs or humans and loves kids.

Without a doubt his favourite thing is being a companion and would do best in an adult home or a home with older children where he can enjoy a gentle touch.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Toronto Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
