Polar's Story...
Arrival Date: 9/11/13
Approximate age: 1 or 2 maybe
Compatible with cats: ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Compatible with dogs: Untested
Compatible with children: No

Polar was from the Creston area. His fur was very matted so he got a quick buzz (his hair will be long when finished growing). We are unsure of the situation he came from, other than the notes indicating no kids and no cats (he will try to hurt them).

He is very shy and slow to trust. On a walk, he was okay and seemed to enjoy the outside. He doesn't like quick movements. If you have the time to spend with him and draw him out of his shell, he will be a wonderful companion.

He will be altered and up to date on vaccinations before he comes home with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polar, a Tipton American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Tipton, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Tipton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tipton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tipton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tipton paves the way for another one to be saved.
