Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WE ARE SORRY BUT WE ADOPT ONLY WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA
Mya is a very sweet girl, well out of puppyhood, yet has been shown little to no affection during her life thus far. This has resulted in her being quite shy of humans and she needs time to learn that she is loved and will be given the attention that she craves.
She was very nervous on the car ride to her foster home when our volunteer picked her up from the shelter, even though he continued to pet her for reassurance. This is sad for us to see knowing how social and affectionate Huskies are by nature.
Mya gets along well with other dogs and was initially reported to be cat friendly. However, her subsequent actions toward the cat in her foster home make us less sure so we recommend caution around any small animals.
She really enjoys her walks and does well on a leash, however she is a runner!! If she gets off the leash you are in for a grand chase. She also loves the water and is an excellent swimmer! Even swimming while connected to a leash she turns into a crocodile.
Mya is healthy, Heartworm negative, spayed, housebroken, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. The more this beautiful girl learns how to be a real Husky, the greater companion she will make. You can make her your lifelong companion; just fill out an adoption application on our web site, www.siberreescue.com, today.
