Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey lives up to her name, she is very sweet. She's a 3 year old Lab/Greyhound mix. Honey is also very shy with people she doesn't know and experiencing new things. Honey seems much more comfortable with females rather than males. Her family said that she slept in the bed with them and was just a gentle girl. Being part Greyhound she does like to run. She ran with several miles a couple of times a week with one of the kids in the family. Honey lived with kids, dogs and cats and was great with all of them. If she's not on a leash she will run and she's very hard to catch. If you're looking for a great family pet and someone in the family needs a running partner, Honey would be the girl of your dreams. Just take it slow when you visit until she gets to know you. Honey's not nippy at all, just scared. Honey was recently adopted and returned. She was very scared of the small children in the family. It's best if kids in her next family are 10 and over. Honey would be great with a young childless couple or single person in a quiet household. She is very comfortable around other gentle dogs.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
