CRENSHAW (R)'s Story...
Crenshaw is a little doll who is sweet and lovable. Crenshaw LOVES to be held and likes his walk. He was picked up as a stray on Sept 17th. Crenshaw is about 2 yrs old and weighs 10 lbs and would likely make a great little lap dog. It appears Crenshaw’s owners did not give him prevention so sadly he has tested positive for heartworms and should be treated right away. With treatment Crenshaw should be good as new in no time. Talk to your vet about the best treatment. Keep in mind heartworms are NOT contagious from dog to dog. He is current on vaccines and will be neutered, micro chipped and heartworm tested upon adoption. His ID is 559839 and he is in cage 323.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CRENSHAW (R), a Marietta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
