My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a sweet 6 month old female Australian Cattle Dog who was rescued from a high kill shelter in San Bernardino, California. She is crate trained and loves to play ball and with toys. She is a typical active puppy and will continue to be highly active due to her breed. Even though she is highly energetic, she can focus and wants to please. This in combination with her smarts makes her highly trainable! She would be a great dog to take for runs and hikes but would also thoroughly enjoy learning flyball or agility! She loves to play and gets along well with other dogs and cats (that are dog savvy)... if they run, she'll chase! Cattle dogs were bred for herding and can have tendencies to herd other house pets or even children so immediate training is highly recommended and as always, we recommend researching the breed of dog you are considering bringing into your family.

Pepper will be arriving from California on September 25th and we would like to line up the best matched candidates to meet her starting the 26th. If you are interested in meeting Pepper, please fill out an application on our website www.raincityrescue.com
Questions can be sent to Lindsey at mad4dogs@live.com. This little cutie will not disappoint you!!
