Gizelle's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Gizelle's Story...
This absolute beauty is Gizelle, a long-haired spayed female approx. 4 years old. Gizelle is not only a real beauty, she is also an absolute sweetheart! She is a bit shy with strangers and loud noises, but she loves to sit on the lap of her person...her mom tells us that she will lay on her lap all day when she is at the computer.

She is mainly an indoor kitty with outdoor privileges...she likes to sniff around the front of the house on occasion, but never strays far from the open front door.

Since she is a bit shy, Gizelle would do best in a quieter environment, with no small children or overly-enthusiastic dogs. She gets along very well with other cats however.

Gizelle finds herself in need of a new home through no fault of her own, the problem is that her owner recently married and her husband can not tolerate cat hair. Being a long-haired kitty, Gizelle naturally sheds a bit more than a short-haired kitty.

Gizelle is still living with her owner, we are hoping to find her a home without having to bring her into the shelter. Please call 917-648-2455 (cell phone) to find out more and to arrange a visit with Gizelle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizelle, a Colville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
