Reese's Story...
Hi! I'm Reese and I'm about 9 -10 months old. I'm a mid-sized pup (about
40 lbs) and about done growing. They think I have some greyhound in me as I
can run like the wind! They tell me I am beautiful too! You should meet me
or maybe even adopt me! I love people and I think I deserve to know a
family. You see I was abandoned in a neighborhood, but I was lucky they
didn't take me to the shelter and these people are taking care of me!
If you are ready for a best friend, let me know! Love, Reese

For additional information, please email info@youluckydogrescue.org. Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reese, a Alpharetta Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
