Diesel's Story...
Diesel # 592 is friendly 2-year-old male, Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. This extremely affectionate pup is good on leash and is crate trained. He is playful with other dogs! Though he may be small he has a larger than life personality! Diesel is extremely loyal and affectionate to the human pack-leader. He is extremely intelligent and a fast learner and eager to please. He is playful and good with kids, though we recommend slightly older ones due to his small size! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel, a Waldorf Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
