Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Petey is a 3 year old Lab/American Bulldog mix, weighing 77 lbs. He belonged to a man in IL who had to move to TX, from a house to an apartment, and was not able to keep Petey. He was brought to be with the man’s sister in TN and now she is hoping to find him a great new home. There are already 2 dogs and a cat in the family and one of the dogs loves to play with Petey, but he has arthritis and really shouldn’t be playing. Petey was originally found when he was not quite a year old, huddled under a car in the rain. He turned out to be a great companion, a man’s best friend. He is house trained and loves to go on walks. Petey loves to run and explore, so he needs a fenced yard. He loves to wrestle and play fetch, loves doggy toys and doesn't chew on things he's not supposed to. He enjoys relaxing with the family and has a spot picked out on the sofa just for himself. Petey is good with other dogs and even cats. He is good with kids, teens, you name it, and loves to pull somebody on a bike. He would make a great dog for protection and security, as he is always monitoring the perimeter of the fence in the back when he is outside, and monitoring activities in the front when he is inside! But most of all, Petey is a lover and wants to always be by your side or with his head in your lap! If you would like to give Petey one last forever home, so he never has to move again, please let us know. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
