Charolette's Story...
Why hello, love! My name is Charolette and I’m a beautiful belle. My fur is thick and glossy, and I work hard to keep it that way. A gal has to take care of herself, right?

My previous family told MaxFund I wasn’t very nice to their dog. Pfffft, I’m a cat! I don’t remember seeing it written down in the rules that I had to be nice to dogs. And really, did anyone bother to ask the dog what he did to me first? Bygones, I say, but maybe it would be best if there are no more dogs in my future.

You might think I’m a sedate, quiet, stuffy lady. Well, I admit I am usually ladylike, but I do have my playful side too. Remember that song, “Girls just wanna have fun…”? Well bring it on! I’m not too proud to chase after feathers and furry mice. Besides, the exercise helps me keep my girlish figure.

And once we’re done working up a sweat…er…I mean…glow, I’ll come snuggle with you on the couch and watch movies and gossip and eat popcorn. We’ll be BFFs! So what are you waiting for? I know you’re searching for a beautiful, sweet lover like me. Well stop looking and get moving! Come take me home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charolette, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
