Brownie's Story...
This cutie pie is Brownie. She is 8 weeks old. She was rescued along with her 6 siblings the day they were going to euthanize them at the Carson shelter. All the kitties are up for adoption. Super friendly. Their foster has two large dogs and they get along just fine. Brownie and her siblings all have very nice long hair. We are not sure what breed they are, but they are sure adorable! If you'd like to meet the kitties, please contact their foster Maria at 323 775 2884.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Glendale Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Glendale, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
