This very sweet boy is Gabriel. Sadly he was abandoned and is blind. How can anyone do this? It does seem like he was very well cared for as his coat is shiny and he is healthy. Gabriel will need a home with no stairs or with someone with blind dog experience, and preferably with another dog, to guide him around. Gabriel has glaucoma in both eyes so when he gets neutered he will have his eyes removed. Is there a kind, compassionate family out there who will give this well-deserved boy a loving home? Gabriel is about 6 yrs old and weighs 65 lbs. He is a Pit mix and Pit Bulls are known to be one of the most loyal breed there is. As with any other breed, when treated with respect and love, they are absolutely wonderful dogs. Please don't let the unfair bad publicity keep you from giving Gabriel a chance. Do not let him become another Pit mix statistic when he has done nothing wrong. Gabriel is current on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and have his eyes removed plus will be micro chipped upon adoption. His ID is 559763 and he is in run 877.
