Coco's Story...
Coco is a lover. She's easy in every way - she gets along with other dogs of all sizes and is fine with cats as well. She's a happy girl, whether she's enjoying a car ride or in the back yard with friends. She's a super house dog and is doing great in her foster home, 100% house trained. Coco is six years old and was obviously loved as a pup - she has a great foundation and a very stable personality. Somehow, she found herself in a shelter and needed our help to get her freedom back. The FOR volunteers were happy to help her. If you'd like to meet her, she's fostered in Huntsville, AL. Please email to learn more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
