Pancho's Story...

Like a rabbit with a carrot,
like a dog with a loved bone
Pancho romps around in circles
always searching for his home.
-Pancho, via his foster parents

He's no sad searcher, no melancholy moocher, no pathetic pup.

Pancho may be on his own, but he is romping, running, and reaching for life, fun, and, yes, a home.

Super playful, Pancho will romp around in circles, playing with his toys. If left to his own resources, he is cute, super playfully so, entertaining himself, for what seems to be hours, with a pool and a rope toy!

Pancho has a lot of patience. He has a lot of energy; he loves toys of all sizes; he loves to play in water. This guy is a true water dog! More than that, this guy is a true player!

Pancho is very social. He steps up to meet other dogs his size. Great with kids, however, given his strength and independent character, Pancho should be placed in a home with teenage kids who can keep up with him.

But he is not a loner. At one time, this sweetheart must have been a loved pet: he is affectionate with his foster parents, house-trained, and comfortable going in-and-out with a pet door.

Pancho needs a home with a family or companion who will provide a playful, loving environment-walks and runs, or games in a backyard. He would thrive with a companion who offered summer fun in the water! His future companions should understand that he needs an environment that offers a balance of stress-free play and gentle, relaxed, loving.

A delicate balance? Maybe.
