Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor little Emily was taken to the Pet Emergency Clinic in Ventura after being hit by car! The vet recorded "tire track" across the top of the dog. Her eye was so severely damaged that it had to be removed immediately, her jaw was broken, and her front leg so seriously injured that amputation was seen as the only option. No one came for her, so she was taken to the Camarillo shelter, and still no one came for her. The shelter contact K-9 PALS and asked for our help for her medical care and rescue. We networked her, and no rescue came forward, Emily was running out of time at the shelter. So we rescued her and got her to our vet asap for evaluation to try to save her leg. And we did save not only Emily, but her leg, too! With physical therapy and donations to pay for it, we have been able to help Emily to regain the use of her leg! Emily also had a broken jaw which we were able to provide surgery to repair. And now Emily is ready for adoption! She is so cute and sweet, don't pass up this opportunity to become part of Emily's happy tail and forever home!
