My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lexie is a super sweet 4 year old (estimated date of birth middle of 2011) female Bluetick/Beagle mix girl. At least that is the closest to the breeds that she looks like to us!

Lexie originally arrived at the shelter in 2013 and was adopted out to a nice man. He, however, was recently admitted to a nursing home where he could not take her. So, she arrived back at the shelter and is again looking for a furrever home. It's sad because she doesn't know where her "dad" went.

She put on a little weight over the last couple of years so we are working on getting her slimmed back down to a good weight. She walks pretty well on a leash and would make a great family dog. (We do have pictures of her from two years ago when she was slimmer if you'd like to see them.)
