Tad is a 3 year old chihuahua/pug mix. He was a shelter pull from IL due to snappish behavior in the shelter. Once again, we find that a little dog who misbehaves in the shelter is a good boy at home. Tad was pretty chunky when he got here at 13 pounds but is doing well on his diet and we are aiming for about 10 or 11 pounds as ideal weight. Tad is house trained, up to date on shots, microchipped and has had a dental. He gets along well with other dogs in the house. Because of his history of snapping, we would most likely not approve a home with small children for everyone's safety.
The adoption fee for Tad is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.
