Ursella's Story...
Ursella and Gretta are five month old full blooded Pointers that were surrendered thru no fault of their own to a local kill shelter. They are beautiful sweet little girls that are learning that its a wonderful world out there. They are learning social skills and are sweet and loving. They both love to play but will be a little reserved at first. Once they realize that you want to play they are all eager to play with their toys and will literally climb up in your lap for big cuddles. They are both spayed, have all shots and are going to be available for adoption October 14. Their adoption fee is 400.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ursella, a Hartford Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Pointer puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
