Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Abby and I am a 4 year old, chocolate cocker spaniel girl. I came to rescue with two cherry eyes that have now been fixed. I was picked up as a stray by animal control here in NC and taken to a shelter. Because I had these two cherry eyes, I could not be adopted out, so the staff contacted a nice CCR volunteer and the arrangements were made to bring me to rescue.
I am a real sweetheart, very friendly, updated on shots and heartworm negative. The vet seems to think that I might have had a litter or two of pups before, but I am now spayed. My cherry eye surgery and spay was paid for by adoption money and a few donations that came in to help me. Now I just need a short recovery to make sure that the tacking holds and then I can go to a new forever home. I do have some skin & coat issues that have just shown up, so I am now on hypo-allergenic food to see if this will help me to look and feel better. I would love a 2nd chance to have a loving home and a great new life. Please adopt me, I would love to be your sweet baby girl!
