Jersey's Info...

I am good with dogs.

Jersey's Story...
My name is Jersey! I am a 4-5 year old Chihuahua mix who was rescued from living outside on a chain. I am a very sweet and loving boy who loves to sit on your lap. I am still learning how to be a house dog, so something still frighten me. However, I am coming around and I am starting to learn how good it feels to not worry about living outside again. I love to play in the back yard of my foster home with her dogs. I have only had one accident and I am crate trained. Give me some time to warm up in new situations; I am still getting the hang of things! No children for me please. Please consider giving me a furever home, where I can live the rest of my life happy and SAFE!

I am neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jersey, a Georgetown Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Georgetown, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Georgetown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Georgetown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Georgetown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Georgetown paves the way for another one to be saved.
