Momma Fern came to us with her puppies but her puppies are now eating on their own. It is time for momma to find her forever home where she can know what love and safety is. She also deserves to be pampered after being such a good mommy. She is about 5yrs old and is a Hound Mix. She is fostered with other dogs, cats and children and is sweet and friendly and gets along with everyone. She is a real laid back lady. Her adoption fee is $150 contact us for an application form.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fern, a Largo Coonhound/Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound/Bloodhound for sale in Largo, or seeking a Coonhound/Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound/Bloodhound breeders who help with Coonhound/Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
