Harry's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Harry's Story...
Check out Harry! He's a lover and still likes to sit in laps to get hugs and pats and give slurpy kisses. One needs a big chair to sit with him, though, as he's hanging off the edges of a typical size lap now! He'll grow to be a big dog.
Harry is a naturally clean pup. He always went to the far end of his original kennel area to do his business. Now he's well on his way to being house trained. His obedience training will go well, too I feel. He will come right away from something if you make the "Eh,Eh!" sound. He already sits for a treat, too, which he takes very gently with his soft mouth. He also comes when you call him.
His dark muzzle and beautifully shaded eyes and orientation to people show his Boxer side. He's a slow and easy mover, active, but not one to dash here and there. He likes to play with tug toys and anything that he can chew on. He's been getting along with other dogs in his foster family, including learning to keep away from the mean old grumpy dog. He's definitely smart. If you'd like to adopt this gorgeous boy please apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Washington Bloodhound/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound/Boxer for sale in Washington, or seeking a Bloodhound/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound/Boxer breeders who help with Bloodhound/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
