MEET TINY TOPPER. UPDATE: Sweet 16 month old neutered male dachshund puppy (AKC, no papers), now ready for adoption. Adorable black and tan baby and oh so tiny, just six pounds. (He is now eating well.) Topper is neutered and fully vetted. He has had a full dental, as well. He loves his big wire crate filled with blankets from the dryer. So Cozy! This little six pound guy fits in handbag and loves to help with the shopping. Older kids and cats ok. Topper would love a puppy class as he's a bit of a shy boy. Don't miss out -- he is one amazing little dude !
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same sex in a home and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer no smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues. All our dogs are fully vetted, including all shots, wormer & flea protection, nails trimmed, the works. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $395, no exceptions as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training. Can you give him a happy, carefree life again?
