Munchie's Story...
Munchie was purchased as snake food, but the snake didn't eat him, so he was given over to us. He is about 7 months old. He came to me when he was about 4 months old, and he was very skittish and very distrustful of people. He is doing much better and now loves attention, although he can still be somewhat shy. He had some rat aggression issues so he was neutered and is now good with other rats, but a proper introduction should still be done. His adoption fee is $10, and you must have another rat or be willing to adopt another rat to be his friend. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Munchie, a Orlando Rat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Rat from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat breeders who help with Rat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
