Layla's Story...
Little Layla is a sweetie who loves to snuggle. She is approx. 2 years old, spayed and current on shots. She is heartworm negative and microchipped. Layla is a happy, healthy girl who likes children (small children also) and gets along and is playful with other dogs. She weighs 12lbs and seems to be house trained. She doesn't mind a crate during the day when you are gone but her favorite place to sleep in at night is in between the pillows of her foster mom's bed. She loves to cuddle up with her canine or human companions. We wouldn't call her so much a lap dog as a chest or shoulder dog because that is where she will be if you sit down!! Layla loves her walks and to run around with other dogs. She would do great in a home with other dogs or by herself. In fact, she would make a wonderful addition to any family. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a Houston Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
