SONNET-pending's Story...
2 year old, Sonnet arrived on September 28th weighing in at 30 pounds. She is 17 inches tall (to the shoulder) She is approx. 27 inches long. She is smaller than she appears in our close up photos. Beside the fact that she is a beautiful girl, she is the sweetest dog around! How sweet can a dog be?? Surely no sweeter than Sonnet! Sonnet is gentle and calm. She has been quiet since arrival. She was rescued from a kill shelter. The prior owner dropped her off because she gave birth to a litter of pups. It is not her fault that they failed to spay her! Truly, Sonnet seems to love everyone and has no idea why anyone left her behind! She is looking for a family to love her forever, she never wants to be in a shelter again! We do have a video of her in the shelter with her pups. She was just as sweet there as she is here. She has been very trusting of us humans messing with her babies. She does not mind a bit. Most dogs get protective but she stayed very sweet with us all. She is learning basic commands and trying so hard to do it right. She only wants to please. A small investment of time will yield a wonderful companion for this easy to get along with sweet dog. Oh! By the way, Sonnet is great in a car and gets along just fine with the dogs in the foster home. See the video. She was distracted by the bees flying around by her but you can get a glimpse of how responsive she is with her foster mom within just a few days!

UPDATE: Sonnet is doing very well. She has the housebreaking thing in hand and will sit and lie down on command. She is no longer nursing her pups. She is a sweet, dog friendly girl who just loves everyone she meets. She truly is a great dog.
