**** She needs a patient adopter - best in a home with another dog ****
Laney was born approx June 2013. This little cutie is 1 of 15 dogs we rescued from the desert. She was born wild in the desert so needs socialization and needs to learn people are not going to hurt her. She has improved with people and walks well on leash but will sometimes be startled by things. She needs a patient adopter who has the time and willingness to work with her. She is very playful but it will take a few days for her to adjust to any new dog. The dogs that she currently lives with in her foster home are her best friends!! She absolutely adores them now that she knows them! She happily comes into the house when you call her but will not come running up to you for any petting and attention. She will come up and take a treat from your hand though. She is just very unsure of our actions. She is a very sweet dog though and just needs to receive lots of love. She is a great jumper so needs a very secure yard. She is good with cats. She is very small for the breed, weighing only 35 lbs. The perfect size and cute to boot!

Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet. Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3pm at R & R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends. Please email (staff@arvsimi.org) ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.
