Hi, I’m Sasha, the copper-nosed beagle! If you have lots of love and cuddles to give, a nice soft dog bed, and a few yummy treats, you just might be the family I’ve been searching for. I am a laid-back, easy-going petite little girl, weighing just 19 lbs. I am completely housebroken and have never had an accident in my foster home. I’m a good girl and don’t get into anything I shouldn’t.
I get along fine with the resident dogs here but I really love humans best, so I would be fine either with canine siblings or as an only dog. I’ve had limited interactions with children but met a couple briefly and I enjoyed having them pet me. I enjoy going for walks and car rides (I ride very nicely in the car), and I really love hanging out in the backyard following all the interesting scents. I have tried to dig in the yard, but when foster mom tells me “No, Sasha” I stop. I really am a very good girl!
I do get a little anxious when my foster family leaves, so they put me in my crate with a yummy treat. I don’t mind too much. I’d rather be with my humans, but when they’re not here I feel much safer in my crate, and I just nap until they come home.
Note from Sasha’s foster mom: Sasha is the sweetest, snuggliest little girl ever! She loves to sit on your lap and cuddle, or just hang out near you. Her coloring is unique and very pretty.
