I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Red's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Red's Story...
Red is a very small boy at 6.2 lbs. He is 7 months old and a bit on the shy side. He would be most comfortable in a home that is laid back, preferrable without small children. He would not hurt a child but with his small size a child could injure him. We are currently working on his social skills as he and his brother Blue were left in a outside pen for most of their young life. Red will make the perfect little lap dog. He will require regular grooming.

Red will be available for adoption on 12-1-2007 We will now be accepting applications.
He will be Neutered, Heartworm tested, microchipped and up to date on Rabies, DA2PPv, Bordatella. He will also receive his first months flea and heartworm preventative.

Adoption fee: $300.00

Please email us for a application at WabashValleyARL@verizon.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Red, a Clay City Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Clay City, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Clay City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clay City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clay City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clay City paves the way for another one to be saved.
