Thea's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Thea's Story...
Thea is an approximately four year old German Shepherd type female who is full of life and fun. Thea is on of our go to dogs for adoption events because she is so outgoing and friendly with everyone she meets. Thea can be very over the top when meeting new people which can often turn people away from her. Thea is absolutely amazing with children albeit over the top at times when she is very excited. She is amazing with other dogs and absolutely loves to play with anyone who will play with her. If no one wants to play with her Thea is content occupying herself with toys. Thea is searching for an active family to share in her adventures and explore the world.

If you have any questions about Thea, or would like an application, please email us at Tierhavenrescue@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thea, a Louisville German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky for sale in Louisville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
