My story

Gigi's adoption fee is $350.

Gigi is an adorable 14 lb. Shih-Tzu mix, roughly 3 years old, with a thick black and white coat and an incredibly gentle personality. She is spayed, up to date with her vaccines and micro chipped. She does have a small scar on her left eye from a previous scratch, but this does not give her any pain nor seem to affect her eye sight.

Gigi is a very low maintenance dog. She loves her walks and car rides, going to the dog park, and playing gently with her foster family and other animals in the home. She is respectful of furniture and objects, and even with her toys she handles them gently. She is house trained, but does try to hold it too long in new environments.

Since Gigi was brought into Tiny Paws care from a puppy mill closure, she is still struggling to overcome her initial fear of humans. She will need a home with patience and a stable, calm environment to allow her to trust and gain confidence, and we feel that Gigi also needs a gentle canine companion in her new home to give her added assurance. Regular walks and opportunities for interaction with new people and animals outdoors is an additional requirement for her continued progress. It is not recommended that Gigi be adopted to a family that is away for long hours daily.
