Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BLONDIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!Blondie is a beautiful, happy and friendly 2-3 year old female Lab/Golden mix in need of a forever family. Blondie was originally found as a stray in southern IL and was never claimed. She is very social and well adjusted though and at one point must have been someone's much loved companion. Blondie, like most Retrievers, loves to play and will do best with an active family. She has yet to meet a stranger and does well with people and other dogs alike! She unfortunately tested a very low positive for a heartworm infection but has since been treated. As part of her recovery, Blondie had to be kept quiet and confined for 4 weeks while they heartworms were dying off. She has been staying at a kennel while she recovered, so we cannot say for sure if she is housetrained or not since we have only observed her in a kennel environment. She keeps her kennel clean, which is a good sign, but we do need potential adopters to be possibly willing to take on this task. Blondie now has the all clear from the vet and will be ready for adoption on or after October 11th. She'll make a wonderful companion for almost any home and she's really excited to meet her forever family!
• Blondie’s adoption donation is $250. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Blondie from euthanasia.
