Farlowe's Story...
ONLY to lexisangels2@hotmail.com

Farlowe is the cutest little poodle/bichon mix, he is approx 1 year old and 11 lbs, he was thrown out in the street to fend for himself by his owners and had been attacked by bigger dogs, he is a very sweet little boy, he was horribly matted and we had to shave him down and clean him up, he has been treated for heartworm and is on a monthly preventative, he is a little shy at first, especially around bigger dogs, but settles down after a while once he knows they are not going to hurt him, he loves people and will follow you everywhere, he is not fully house trained. but learning from the other dogs, he loves his big doggie bed and does pretty well on a leash, not sure if he would be good with little kids but would be fine with older ones. He should not be considered hypoallergenic due to being a mix.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Farlowe, a Woonsocket Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Woonsocket, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Woonsocket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woonsocket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woonsocket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woonsocket paves the way for another one to be saved.
