Lenny's Story...
Lenny is a 2-year-old Corgi mix who came to us from Puerto Rico. He is a playful dog who’s curious about everything and everyone. He met a lot of people at a recent adoption outreach and was nice to all, young and old. Lenny knows “sit”, “stay”, and “come”. Lenny is an energetic dog.

A volunteer took him to her home for an overnight visit and she said: “Lenny is a fun-loving outgoing terrier type that just wants his own person to love. He fit in really well with my 2 female dogs. He was very playful with the younger one and was very high-energy, but he did want to sit and cuddle. I took him on a long walk with all of them at the same time – he was very well behaved except occasionally would get a little scared and tried to hide on my feet! I was glad to have him – he adjusted very quickly to our routine.”

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lenny, a Eatontown Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Eatontown, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Eatontown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eatontown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eatontown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eatontown paves the way for another one to be saved.
