My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a nine year old multi colored Shih Tzu. His mom had to be put into an assisted living facility and that is how he ended up in rescue. Max's left eye was so bad we removed it while he was neutered & microchipped.

He does well in a crate and is house broken. He is up to date on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. He had a negative fecal, exam & a negative heartworm test. Max gets along well with everyone and has no idea how to be aggressive. He is a little on the shy side at first but warms up to you quickly and is very loving. We weren't sure if he even barked but after months he finally did. He does require eye drops when the eye is dry but doesn't have a problem with that. Whoever decides to give Max a loving home will be a very lucky person. Please consider taking this wonderful little pup into your home.
