Ross's Story...
Ross was a tiny puppy that came to us with his sister, Betsy, on the 4th of July. They were very thin and needed a lot of TLC, which they got from us. Ross is now 4 months old, scheduled to be neutered, and is a beautiful, sweet-natured little pup. Ross has more of a hound appearance but we were told his mother was APBT, so we have to make that known. Because of that, we will require a home inspection prior to adoption. If you live outside of Middle TN, we can try to find a local rescue to perform the inspection for us but we cannot guarantee it. Ross is fully vetted, doing fantastic with his housetraining (please don't expect any puppy to be 100% housebroken!), crate trained and is an absolute joy.

Adoption Fee: $200 w/micro-chip, $175 without

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ross, a Hartsville Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Hartsville, or seeking a Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Hartsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
