Gretchen's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Gretchen's Story...
I'm just 2 years old, but I'm very well behaved. It's important to have a good attitude in life, otherwise no one will want to adopt you. So here I am. Happy, great personality, very good walker and not a big barker. I keep myself in good shape with a long walk every day and a really nice yard to play in with my friends. I am tri-colored and 25 pounds and did I mention I have a great personality?

If you would like to know about qualifying to adopt, please look at our website at www.bigcanoeanimalrescue.org under "Want to adopt?" All the dogs are adopted as family pets and not outside dogs. Oh, did I tell you I'm going to obedience classes?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gretchen, a Big Canoe Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Big Canoe, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Big Canoe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Big Canoe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Big Canoe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Big Canoe paves the way for another one to be saved.
